Mini PC Launch
GMKtec’s new NucBox K10 mini PC is now available in the US. Specifically, it can be ordered directly from the manufacturer's official online store for prices starting at $419 for the barebone SKU, which comes without memory, an SSD or operating system. For $519, the K10 comes equipped with 32GB RAM and a 1TB SSD, this variant is also available on Amazon. Alternatively, the maxed-out configuration with 64GB RAM retails for $589.
The mini PC is powered by the Intel Core i9-13900HK, which is a slightly older Alder Lake chipset from 2023 but offers 14 cores and should perform well, even in more demanding applications. However, the NucBox K10 has no dedicated graphics card and does not feature an OCuLink port for eGPUs. On a more positive note, it supports up to 96GB DDR5 RAM at clock speeds of up to 5,200MHz.
GMKtec’s latest addition has clearly visible external WiFi antennas, which are connected to an AX201 module that also supports Bluetooth 5.2. An Ethernet port with 2.5Gbit/s is onboard as well. Furthermore, the mini PC can handle a total of three M.2 2280 SSDs, so even large amounts of data can be stored locally. The remaining connectivity options on the NucBox K10 include USB Type-C, two HDMI ports, one DisplayPort and four USB 3.2 and USB 2.0 ports each.
GMKtec Mini PC Workstation, Intel Core i9 13900HK(14C/20T) up to 5.4GHz, Mini Computer 32GB DDR5 RAM 1TB SSD, 8X USB Ports/COM/HDMI/DP Office Business

I have been active as a journalist for over 10 years, most of it in the field of technology. I worked for Tom’s Hardware and ComputerBase, among others, and have been working for Notebookcheck since 2017. My current focus is particularly on mini PCs and single-board computers such as the Raspberry Pi – so in other words, compact systems with a lot of potential. In addition, I have a soft spot for all kinds of wearables, especially smartwatches. My main profession is as a laboratory engineer, which is why neither scientific contexts nor the interpretation of complex measurements are foreign to me.

My fascination for technology goes back a long way to the Pentium II era. Modding, overclocking and treasuring computer hardware has since become an integral part of my life. As a student, I further developed a keen interest in mobile technologies that can make the stressful college life so much easier. After I fell in love with the creation of digital content while working in a marketing position, I now scour the web to bring you the most exciting topics in the world of tech. Outside the office, I’m particularly passionate about motorsports and mountain biking.
